My name is Tom. I’ll be the new fishing guy at Sportsworld. Please feel free to drop by the store or E-Mail me at our website regarding any questions you may have about our area fishing, most recent reports, our fishing department at Sportsworld, equipment, rods, reels, lures, flies, terminal tackle, etc.. I will do my best to assist you. Most of all I would really like to hear about your adventures and results of fishing on our lakes. Fishing has always been my greatest passion. I have been fishing since I was old enough to hold a cane pole. Raised in the midwest, I grew up fishing the lakes, ponds, and rivers in Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Michigan. I have fished in the Florida keys, and western gulf coast. I have fished in the Canadian provinces of British Colombia and Ontario. For the past 35 years I have lived in Nevada and fished the streams, rivers and reservoirs of the western states for mexico to Canada. I remember once telling my son, in 1995, that I had realized I was a “serious” fisherman because that year I had fishing licenses in six states and Canada! I am skilled in all types of freshwater fishing, equipment usage, terminal tackle rigging, and techniques. I will usually be able to answer your questions, provide advice, and/or instruction, and it will be my pleasure to do so. Also, as you get to know me, you’ll find that, for me, the next best thing beside fishing is talking with others about fishing! I look forward to meeting you.
